Here is a Fender Precision Bass guitar body the we were commissioned to do for a client.  The above picture is just after the first set of clears were applied.  We'll put a finished picture up as soon as the second set of clears are finished & it is assembled.

This is the the guitar as we had received it from the client.  As soon as we received it, the guitar went to Warren for break down.

While the guitar was in the process of being disassembled & prepped to remove the chips & scratches.  James got started on the layout & design for the guitar.  James work with some of the reference & input that we received from the client to design a one of a kind design that fit exactly what the client was looking for.

This is what Jamie came up with, giving the client what he described & working with the design & components of the guitar to fit everything in where it work best.

Here the body is being prepped & all the nick, chips & scratches are being sanded out of it.

After the guitar was sealed & the new black base was applied, Eben prepped his airbrushes so the art work could be airbrushed on the body.

Here is the body with the art work laid out.  Eben started by airbrushing the art work in white.

Here is a close up of the white layout.

This shows the finely executed airbrushing in comparison to the original sketch.  Parts of the art work were slightly adjusted a bit to make it fit the guitar body & its components a bit more for a perfect fit.

With the white work finished up Eben cleaned out his airbrushes to begin the color work.

Here Eben is executing the color work to the white art.

This is the guitar body with all the art work finished up.  Now, off the clear coating.

This is a picture of the guitar with the first set of clears finished up.  Now it will get sanded down & recleared. Then a buff & polish, next it will be off to Warren for final assembly & adjustment.  Check back soon for the finished photos of the guitar completely finished.  Eye Kandi
