Custom Tiki Guitar by EYE KANDI - This is a guitar that Eben has been working on, He had the freedom to airbrush whatever he wanted on it.  Which with the base color was pretty apparent, he was thinking TIKI!  After getting the body prepped, Eben proceeded in with his aibrush.  Using white, he started laying out the design just enough to get everything started.  Once he was pretty happy with the initial layout, he continued to work the white , defining his highlighted areas & setting back the darker ones.

 After the white work had been completed, Eben loaded his airbrush with Rootbeer candy & started working the design lightly to set tone.  Next he came in with a Rootbeer & Pagan Gold mix & worked the Tikis & torch a bit more with a color wash & with some detailing.  Then he mixed up some Organic Green & started giving the plants some shape using several values of the green.

  Now that everything had some color, he darkened up the Rootbeer using some black & started defining the tikis even more. Next, he came back in with his white & punched out some highlights & dusted in the background.  Then went over the background & hightlights with Pagan Gold.  He threw in some fire coming out of the torch & worked some highlights into everything with Lemon Yellow.  Now his final step was to work some black into the darkest areas to really define the piece.

  The piece was finally ready for some clearcoating.  This is a custom painted guitar that will definetly stand out in a crowd!
